Chris Maxwell & Tracy Reynolds

Sean Seay, the Lead Pastor of Athens Church, is this week’s guest on Next Step Leadership. Sean’s story, wisdom, and leadership role all make him a great voice for this podcast’s audience. He tells about his journey, inviting listeners to his narrative. He grew up in a broken home, knew very little about Christianity, found Jesus during his college years, and became involved with the discipleship ministry of Andy Stanley. After seminary, Sean moved back to Georgia and became involved in Northpoint Church, eventually accepting his role to start Athens Church. Sean and his team wake up thinking about the people who are “not there yet.” They also see leadership health and soul care as crucial. Years of the past are still influencing each person. Hear his story. Learn from his heart. Find practical ways to apply principles from Sean Seay.
