This week’s episode is the second conversation Tracy and Chris have with Jason McCary. Jason, again, is very honest. He offers practical ideas. He tells stories. But he not only tells stories, Jason offers the honesty desperately needed among today’s leaders and learners. All three of these men serve in roles where they help mentor and encourage the next generation of leaders. Jason has both the gifts and the heart to do that. As you hear him talk, you will hear that heart. Working with pastors, leaders, students, and people in various roles, Jason offers his time. Isn’t that needed today? We are bombarded with policy and procedure, but desperate for relational leadership where mentoring time is valued and seen as a priority. Jesus calls us to follow Him, not as spectators but as servants. Christ invites us to come low, to serve, to wash the feet of those around us, to listen, to love. Will we serve that way? Will we lead that way? Jason invites us to. He believes we can.
